Rate Schedule
Effective March 1, 2009
Services are billed in increments of 1/2 hour plus expenses at the rates shown below. The hourly rate and markup on expenses are subject to change at Reeve Engineers’ discretion; however, changes will not take effect until published on this Web Site. We do not work on contingency, and we may require a deposit on account or retainer prior to starting work.
Telecommunications Engineering, Consulting and Support Services:
Principal: Whitham D. Reeve, P.E.
- For work in Anchorage office and vicinity: US$150.00 per hour (minimum billing 1 hour)
- For work while traveling outside of Anchorage office: US$1,500.00 per day (minimum billing 1 day)
Telecommunications Forensic Services:
Principal: Whitham D. Reeve, P.E.
- For work in Anchorage office and vicinity: US$200.00 per hour (minimum billing 1 hour)
- For work while traveling outside Anchorage office: US$2,000.00 per day (minimum billing 1 day)
Sub-Consultants and Associates:
Sub-consultants and associates may be used on a particular project to provide supplemental expertise. Sub-consultants and associates will be billed at invoice cost plus 15%.
Direct Expenses:
Direct expenses are any costs incurred by Reeve Engineers directly attributable to a project. Direct expenses include toll telephone, production and printing costs, travel, lodging and meals, rented vehicles, rented test equipment, and materials, supplies and services directly assigned to a project. Direct expenses will be billed at invoice cost plus 15%. Generally, meals are billed at $35/day.
Company Owned Equipment:
Company vehicle mileage will be billed at US$0.60 per mile when vehicle is used directly on a project. Various types of company owned test equipment may be used during test or inspection of systems. This equipment will be billed according to the rate schedule in effect at the time of billing (rate schedule available on request).
Computer Rates:
Computers are used extensively for preparation of specifications, engineering calculations, spreadsheet analysis, CAD, and database management. Computer time directly charged to a project will be billed at US$15.00 per hour. There is no charge for computer time associated with the preparation of regular correspondence and minor related work.
Material Purchases:
Material purchased for construction and incidental parts and supplies will be billed at invoice cost plus 15%.
Limitation of Liability:
Liability will be limited to the amount of fees paid to Reeve Engineers or its representatives for the engagement.
