Radio Telescope: Callisto Spectrometer with Heterodyne Up-Converter. Frequency range is 5 to 85 MHz. Antenna is a Log Periodic Dipole Array Antenna on a steerable mount approximately 13 m Above Ground Level. Site is 22 m Above Mean Sea Level.

Receiver commissioned 12 February, 2011

Read the Light-Curve as follows:

The bottom horizontal scale is a 24-hour time scale in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). The scale label indicates the date of the chart (dd/mm/yyyy)

The  left vertical scale shows the received power in decibels above the average background noise. Up to five individual frequencies are selected from the frequency list used by the receiver, and these frequencies and corresponding trace color are shown in the upper-right corner of the chart.

Considerable radio frequency interference is received by this installation as indicated by the traces rising and falling throughout the day.  The antenna is steerable but usually is kept in a fixed azimuth of True South. The Callisto at this station generally collects data only during daylight hours.
