Flight-Pi ~ Pi-Aware on Raspberry Pi Description Flight-Pi uses the FlightAware ASB-B receiver, PiAware software and the Raspberry Pi (RPi) computer platform, all packaged in an extruded aluminum enclosure with a dc-dc converter power supply. The internal power supply allows the unit to be powered from a nominal 12 Vdc station power supply . The internal power supply has filtering, overcurrent protection and polarity guard components. Applications The Flight-Pi receives ADS-B signals from aircraft and processes the signals for flight tracking purposes. The Pi-Aware software used on the RPi also uses multilateralization and allows interconnection with FlightAware and is compatible with PlanePlotter. The Flight-Pi uses the Network Time Protocol (NTP) with US server pool and local NTP servers (GpsNtp-Pi).
