Solar Radio Observations at HF for 20 May 2012

The chart above shows a solar burst at 0406 followed by strong bursts of radio frequency interference at 0407 and 0408. Examination of the accompanying spectrogram immediately below reveals that these bursts were likely caused by the over-the-horizon radar or ionosonde frequency sweeps seen as the two slanting lines.
